I generally support the BSofA to allow gay oriented youth to their ranks. I call on evangelicals and the AG churches to not pull their support from BSA.
It is proper and courageous for an organization which says it builds Godly character in youth not to ostracize any except for safety reasons. I also call on the BSA to require a vow of celibacy or purity on all scouts would be good for girl scouts too.
I question the AG would you deny access to a young child of gay orientation to your sanctuaries or if you had a child of such would you ostracize them from your family?
if you say yes we are different mindsets about the God we serve. I call everyone to holy consecrated lives, but we need to lead others to Christ by setting Godly examples and love as AGAPE love compels us.
Yes I do believe the homosexual act is sin however we are all sinners and we all fall short.
I do believe that we should hope that the BSA influence will lead young men to holy consecrated lives committed fully and completely to God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. That we desire that they be filled and baptized with the precious Holy Spirit and so empowered that than can overcome sin as we all need too.
I realize the last part differs me with a lot on this issue but I hold firmly to the Holy Scriptures as God's guide for everyday life.
